The Issue Wizard
Without good software, creating a new transmittal can be a slow, painful and potentially error-prone exercise. With CadTracker’s issue wizard you can create and e-mail transmittals in just a few clicks.
You can optionally split issues into multiple transmittal zips to allow for small e-mail inbox sizes.
Select items to send
Add documents, drawings and other items to the transmittal. You can select source files as well as PDFs if they exist.
You can preview, search, sort and filter, and even check if a particular revision has already been issued.
Select the recipients
You can send issues to multiple recipients. If a recipient only needs to be notified about the issue but does not need to receive all of the items, you can send the issue advice only.
Send emails with Outlook
You can send transmittal e-mails with Outlook or via your own SMTP server. You can also use Outlook templates for issue advice e-mails, and you may use a unique template for each project.
Professional transmittal advice reports
Issue and transmittal advice reports are automatically generated, based on your selected template. You can set up unique templates for different types of transmittals. For example, when issuing to clients you might use a landscape template showing all columns, and when issuing drawings to a workshop you might use a portrait template with additional blank columns for handwritten notes.
